Bardedjilidji is a sandstone outlier complex near the East Alligator River, where stone country, paperbark woodland, monsoon rainforest pockets and freshwater wetlands occur in close proximity. This habitat mosaic supports a distinctive mix of fauna, while rock shelters and grinding sites reflect a long history of Aboriginal use.
