Lee Point
Birding around the north of Darwin, including the contested Binybara woodland.
Coconut Grove Mangroves form part of Darwin Harbour’s extensive intertidal mangrove system, with tidal creeks and dense mangrove forest providing habitat for a highly specialised bird community. The site is particularly notable for mangrove golden whistler and white-breasted whistler, alongside other mangrove-dependent species such as broad-billed flycatcher and mangrove robin.
