Dights Falls is a rocky reach of the Birrarung/Yarra River within Yarra Bend Park, where the river drops across a natural basalt bar modified by a nineteenth-century weir. The surrounding river corridor supports mature river red gums and riparian woodland, while the falls and adjacent rapids create a distinctive section of fast-flowing habitat within inner Melbourne.
