Fogg Dam CR

About this location

Fogg Dam is a large floodplain wetland on the Adelaide River plains east of Darwin, with shallow open water, reedbeds, seasonally inundated grassland and surrounding tropical woodland. Originally constructed as a water-control structure, it now functions as an important wildlife reserve and is especially productive for waterbirds, raptors and other wetland fauna as water levels change through the dry season.
