About this location
Green Hill Lake is a heavily modified recreational lake on the eastern edge of Ararat, developed from the former Warrayatkin Swamp during the 1980s. The lake is now used for fishing, boating, camping and other recreation, with managed foreshore and scattered trees providing habitat for a modest range of waterbirds and parkland species.
