Kakadu NP
Five days of incredible birding in Kakadu National Park.
Mamukala is a seasonal wetland on Kakadu’s northern floodplains, surrounded by open grassland and savanna woodland. Its shallow waters and extensive reedbeds attract large concentrations of waterbirds as conditions change through the year, making it one of the park’s best-known floodplain birding sites. The wetland is especially productive late in the dry season, when receding water concentrates birds and other wildlife.
