Nawurlandja is a rocky outlier and lookout near Burrungkuy, rising above the surrounding savanna woodland and floodplain. Its exposed rock faces and elevated Stone Country setting offer broad views across Anbangbang and the Arnhem Land escarpment, while the surrounding habitat supports specialists, such as sandstone shrikethrush, alongside more widespread savanna species.
