Glenelg
Overnight in Victoria's southwest.
Point Danger is a windswept coastal headland south of Portland, with low coastal heath and open grassy vegetation above the Southern Ocean. It is best known for its Australasian gannet colony, established in the 1990s after birds spread from nearby Lawrence Rocks to form the only mainland breeding colony in Australia. The surrounding coastal habitat also supports species such as rufous bristlebird, hooded plover and southern emuwren.
