About this location
The Regent’s Park is a large formal park in central London, combining extensive lawns, mature trees, ornamental gardens and a substantial lake and wetland system. Reedbeds, scrub and lakeside vegetation support one of the most diverse waterbird communities of any of the Royal Parks, with species such as great crested grebe, grey heron, and Cetti’s warbler regularly using the site. The park also supports central London’s only breeding population of hedgehogs.
