About this location
West Albury Wetlands form part of the Murray River floodplain west of central Albury, where billabongs, lagoons and riverine wetlands sit among extensive floodplain riparian woodland dominated by river red gums. The wetlands are linked by the Wagirra Trail through Kremur Street and Horseshoe Lagoon towards Wonga Wetlands, creating a continuous corridor of river and wetland habitat used by a broad range of waterbirds and woodland species.
