About this location
Junee Urban Wetland is a constructed stormwater wetland receiving almost three-quarters of the town’s runoff, with a series of reed beds, shallow water and boardwalks through the site. Its wetland vegetation helps slow and filter stormwater while providing breeding and foraging habitat for species such as Australasian swamphen, dusky moorhen, little grassbird and Australasian reed warbler.
